Second Generation Computers (1959-1964)

Second-generation Computers have been using transistor and diode to replace the channels and makes the vacuum cleaner the size of the computer smaller and cheaper. the new way to save memory also introduced through magnetic technology. computer main memory size increases and the man also made it more efficient.

Occurrence of the FORTRAN and COBOL language marks the beginning of high-level language to replace the engine in the more difficult. Mini computers have been introduced that is also the second largest in the computer generation. Version is the first DEC PDP 8 which was created in 1964, which is very useful to process data.

Third Generation Computers (1964-early 80's)

Chip began replaced the the transistor with the most logical result litar terkamir or better known as the chip. Smallest micro-computer type of computer has emerged and quickly became the most popular such as Apple II, IBM PC and Sinclair.
Many programming languages have emerged, such as BASIC, Pascal and PL / 1. Most of the micro-computer based interpretation with the language in depth, chip ROM to use BASIC language.
